Company History
1945
Company established. Began to manufacture electric instruments for switchboards.
1949
Company incorporated as Shinko Electric Instrument Company Ltd.
Mr. Sadao Kitagawa appointed as first president.
1953
Began manufacturing of automatic temperature controllers utilizing electron tubes.
1960
Developed the very first transistor based automatic temperature controller.
1961
Official opening of the new Head Office and factory in Minoo City near Osaka, Japan.
1968
Opened the Sanda factory, in Japan.
1973
Opened the Fukuoka factory, in Japan.
1980
Developed a microcomputer based mult-channel temperature controller and began automated mass production.
1985
Opened the Tokushima factory, in Japan. Moved the manufacutring operations that remained in Osaka to each factory. Established the central research facility in Minoo City.
1987
Mr. Hideo Kitagawa appointed president.
1991
Name changed to SHINKO TECHNOS COMPANY LTD.
1995
Celebrated the 50th anniversary of the company.
1997
Received ISO9001 Certification.
2000
Established European Headquarters. SHINKO EUROPE BV in Haarsteeg, Netherlands. Established Chinese Sales Office in ShangHai, China.
2002
Established the America's headquarters SHINKO NORTH AMERICA LTD., in Toronto, Canada. Mr. Yukichi Oikawa appointed as president.
2005
Celebrates the 60th aniversary of the company. The head ofice of SHINKO TECHNOS moves to Senbahigashi, Minoo, Osaka, Japan.
2007
America's headquarters of SHINKO NORTH AMERICA LTD., moves to Maple Ridge, British Columbia..
